Avenoc® Suppositories Review

Avenoc® Suppositories offer the internal relief from hemorrhoids in a way that only suppositories can.

Ingredients

The active ingredients are listed as:

Aesculus hippocastanum 1X HPUS - Relieves stinging pain associated with external hemorrhoids

Collinsonia canadensis 1X HPUS - Relieves painful hemorrhoids associated with constipation

Hamamelis virginiana 1X HPUS - Relieves hemorrhoids with a tendency to bleed

These are also known as horse chestnut, stone root, and witch hazel. HPUS is a reference to the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States and indicates that these ingredients are officially included in that list. The inactive ingredient is cocoa butter which has the effect of keeping the suppositories from melting too quickly.

How Does It Work?

Avenoc® Suppositories are intended for adult use only. Before inserting, clean the anal area with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly. Insert a suppository rectally morning and night.

The suppositories are bullet shaped. The cocoa butter keeps the suppository from becoming too soft as this will make insertion difficult. However once they are inserted, body heat will allow the suppository to release the ingredients and let the healing begin.

Not all suppositories are the same – some just coat the area to protect it from further damage from constipation or harsh wiping. However, Avenoc® Suppositories have the ingredients that are well known to help in curing hemorrhoids.

For instance, horse chestnut contains aescin which reduces inflammation and strengthens vein walls by making veins more elastic and by repairing leaks in veins. In scientific studies of horse chestnut as a cure for hemorrhoids, it was shown that it helped reduce pain, bleeding, and swelling of hemorrhoids within a week.

Stone root is noted for strengthening the veins which helps shrink hemorrhoids and aids in keeping the anal area is a stronger condition to prevent the return of hemorrhoids. It is also an astringent that shrinks and soothes hemorrhoids.

Direction Of Use

While the instructions sound easy, simply insert the suppository, it helps if you raise one knee to the chest to make insertion easier. You can stand with one leg up on a chair, or sit on the toilet or lie down on one side and bring your knee up to your chest.

Do not use if the suppository’s blister seal is broken and use them only rectally.

If you start to bleed after inserting a suppository, check with your doctor.

When using this product, do not exceed recommended daily dosage unless directed by a doctor. Stop use and ask a doctor if your symptoms last for more than seven days or worsen.

If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.

Keep out of reach of children.

If swallowed, get medical help or contact a poison control center right away.

Where To Buy?

There is a listing of where to buy Avenoc® Suppositories at www.boironusa.com. The product comes in packages of 12 suppositories and the price ranges depending on the offline store or the online store prices but it costs in the $12 range.
